Summer is just around the corner. Two and a half months of summer break with the kids at home... YIKES! How in the world are parents going to keep their kids busy, and what does a ladder accessory company have to do with all of this? Read and see why...
ProVisionTools, Inc. provides tools for "doer's." We offer products that make working on ladders safer and easier like our PiViT LadderHelper, or our PiViT Platform. They enable people to do the job. So we wanted to give our take on empowering our children this summer to get outside and do things!
Greatfulfottheride.blogspot.com shared a great benchmark for kids to not be B.O.R.E.D. The acronym instructs children on ways to not be bored, and to make the most out of their free time while on summer break. See below.
B. een creative?
O. utside played?
R. ead a book?
E. xerciesed 20 minutes?
D. one something helpful?
We think this is a good mix of brain and braun to get your kid's juices going. Put this on your fridge this summer and when you hear the magic word, have them refer to this.
B.O.R.E.D. is a great starting point, but if you really want to take it up a notch this summer, have your kids organize and participate in volunteer activities. A simple one is to have them start a neighborhood clean up program. It will teach your children to plan, get organized, educate them on the importance of keeping our planet clean, and will beautify the neighborhood. It's a win-win all the way around.
We want everyone's kids to have a fun and active summer this year. America needs more "doer's" and we can help get them on the right track this summer break with a little activity and a lot of fun!
