On average, gutters accumulate anywhere from 40-250 pounds of debris per year! This buildup can create all kinds of problems for your home such as foundation erosion, mosquito infestations and damage to your roof and gutter system, which can cost thousands of dollars to replace. Now is a good time to clean them out while we still have nice weather. If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow, you will want them clean so they can get rid of snow and ice.
Safety Note: Gutter maintenance generally means using a ladder. Please use ladder safety precautions at all times. Use a Pivit Ladder Tool if you need to put your ladder on uneven or sloped ground.

I like your tip to check for sagging since gutters that sag are not doing their job. We have a few gutters that are sagging a bit, but I’m wondering if it’s already too much or if I can fix them now and save them from needing to be replaced. I better just call a specialist that could come and take a look since they would know what to do.

Yes, that’s right — you can make resolutions for your home just like you can for yourself and your family.
